Paul Giordano, Ph.D. , has joined the Bayer Green Solutions Team at Bayer Environmen- tal Science , a business unit of the Crop Science division of Bayer. Giordano will help Bayer customers in the Northeast ensure success while supporting the broader industry through scientific thought leadership, education and training. The Bayer Green Solutions Team translates innovative research into real-world solutions for managing turfgrass pests and stress and helps look for new ways to manage the challenges turf managers face. Giordano joined the Bayer team in 2014, serving as technical services representative for Bayer Environmental Science Canada. Giordano has given more than 150 presentations in the past three years and is the author of more than 30 peer-reviewed magazine and other technical articles in various turfgrass industry publications. The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) announced its new board. Spirit Golf , a full-service golf course ownership and management company, has signed a multiyear consulting agreement with Down River Golf Course in Everett, Pa. Located along the mountains in south-central Pennsylvania, Down River is a family-owned-and-operated, semiprivate facility that boasts 18 holes of golf, an expansive driving range, a pro shop and Fairway's Bar & Grill. Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply expanded its Rain Bird Golf partnership with new service and fulfillment areas in eight states. Ewing Irriga- tion, a family-owned supplier of golf, irrigation, landscape, agronomic and water- management products, is the exclusive Rain Bird Golf distributor in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. In addition, Ewing is the Rain Bird Golf fulfillment partner in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Ewing has immediate plans to create an on-site presence throughout the Northeast to serve Rain Bird Golf courses. The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) announced its 2018 officers and board of directors. The officers are: president: Robert J.
