90 GOLF COURSE MANAGEMENT 02.17 Dubai Golf added 292 E-Z-Go RXV golf carts featuring TKV GPS units across its properties. The local Jacobsen dealer, Luxury Carts Arabia, made the delivery in January, with 33 of the fleet to Almouj Golf in Oman, 170 golf carts to Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, and 80 units to Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. The TKV GPS unit is permanently mounted in the cart and offers different levels of amenities for golfers, such as text yardages, enhanced graphics, scoring, messaging, and food and beverage ordering. It also facilitates direct communication with golfers on the course, and can be used for alerts or advertising additional services. RXV golf carts feature a suspension inspired by automotive engineering and a 48- volt AC drive system that provides up to 39 percent energy efficiency savings. There is additional storage space for drinks, spare balls and tee pegs, as well as ample space for golf bags and clubs. Visit www.ezgo.com. Paris Site Furnishings introduced the Lucid series backless bench , which offers comfort and durability along with promotional, branding or messag- ing opportunities, making them ideal for golf courses and high-profile landscape architecture projects. The 5-foot steel bench includes a large area along the seat to accom- modate a logo or messaging that can be wrapped along the side. Unlike logos applied with paint or decals, the message on a Lucid bench is laser-cut and integral to the bench — it will not chip, peel, fade or become discolored. These one-piece, ready-to-install benches come in red, blue, white, gray, green, yellow and beige, with custom col- ors available. Backless Lucid benches are manufactured of quarter-inch mild steel for strength and durability. They are rust-proofed and powder-coated to withstand the elements. Built-in anchor holes allow secure mounting to concrete or other solid surfaces. Visit www.peml.com. Atticus introduced a line of products containing the active ingredient acetamiprid, an insecticide that works quickly to control target pests through both contact and ingestion. The products are a viable, EPA-recognized and USDA field-proven alternative where pollination impact is a concern. Atticus offers two formulations for use in agriculture and turf and ornamental markets. In agricultural applications, ArVida 30 SG and ArVida 70 WP can be used alone or as part of a resistance management program on a broad range of crops. The active ingredient works through translaminar movement to penetrate plant (product news) E-Z-Go
