Smithco is Working with the University of Massachusetts Stockbridge School of Agriculture to Test the Benefits of Fairway Rolling. Tests over a two-year period show that rolling fairways can REDUCE FUNGICIDE APPLICATIONS BY AN AVERAGE OF 50%. Different fungicide spray schedules were tested (Threshold vs Calendar at 21-day intervals). This should be a major cost reduction if further test plots confirm this.
