MULTIGUARD PROTECT®: NATURAL NEMATODE CONTROL Effectively treating a nematode infestation requires a product capable of quickly controlling the issue while protecting and improving turf quality. MultiGuard Protect is an environmentally safe and naturally derived contact liquid nematicide proven to kill harmful nematodes on contact. This turf care product also improves root resiliency and growth, allowing for improved nutrient and water uptake. MultiGuard Protect provides superintendents and turf care professionals with a simple to use, worry-free and economic nematicide formulated to keep your greens, tees and grounds healthy and nematode free. MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS, CONTINUOUS TURF PROTECTION Nematodes are a high population species and can regenerate quickly, so multiple applications of MultiGuard Protect® are vital for nematode control. Using one of the following application programs ensures optimal results. • 3-Application Program – 3 applications on 21-day intervals (spring or fall) • 6-Application Program – 3 applications on 21-day intervals (spring), followed by 3 applications on 21-day intervals (fall). TIPS FOR ENHANCING GOLF COURSE TURF RECOVERY TIME • Provide adequate nutrition to grass before and after MultiGuard Protect use • Pre-irrigate greens and tees to a minimum of 70% feld capacity • Apply emulsion as a full cover coarse spray (10% max concentration by volume) on well irrigated turf • Irrigate turf within 15 minutes of application with ¼- to ½-inch of water • Fertilize turf within two weeks of application for optimal nutrition AN EFFECTIVE NEMATICIDE MultiGuard Protect is formulated for use with established greens and tees and for select fairway treatments. MultiGuard Protect controls root-attacking nematodes and supresses fungal plant diseases, including species of Pythium, Phytophthora, Fusarium and Rhizoctonia.
