SCOTLAND Andrea Patussi, formerly (S) at Michigan State University, is now (AF) at Loch Lomond Golf Club in Alexandria. William B. Nelson, 61, died March 31, 2013. Mr. Nelson, a 36-year member of GCSAA, earned a degree in turfgrass management at Michigan State University. Since 1987, he had worked at Shanty Creek Resorts in multiple capacities, and was vice president of operations. Nelson also was on the board of directors of the Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association and Michigan Turfgrass Foundation. He is survived by his wife, Susan Nelson; daughters Jennifer, Kelley, Allyson, Meghan, Elizabeth and Rebbecca; sister Cheryl Ayotte; brother Robert Nelson; stepdaughter Melissa Lee; nieces Amy and Heather; nephews Scott and Eric; cousins Katie (Grant) Gullickson, Sue (Deb-Ann) Hovey and Pete Hovey; aunt Eddy Hovey and numerous other relatives. SPAIN Victor M. de la Cruz, formerly (S) at Michigan State University, is now (ISM) at Club de Golf Valderrama in Cadiz. Mr. Fridley, a 28-year member of GCSAA, was an affliate. He worked as a wholesale distributor, and served as vice president at Lea's Green Meadows Inc. in Temple Hills, Md.
