We observed a reduction of the muck layer and exposed a sand bottom along the edge of the pond, effectively treating the algal biomass and eliminating the presence of algae." Visit Moleaer, Kioti Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA Inc., began shipping its inaugural Zero Turn Radius (ZTR) mower line to dealerships across North America. The new mower line features 12 models across four series — ZXR, ZXR SE, ZXC and ZXC SE — designed and developed for commercial and residential applications. Top-tier engine and drivetrain components combined with world-class manufacturing ensure that these ZTRs will deliver the same quality, reliability and value that Kioti's customers have become ac- customed to and that its tractors are known for. The Kioti ZTRs boast features that offer value and reliability, ensuring years of comfortable performance for operators. Engines range from 21 to 27 hp, with six models developed for professionals and six for property owners and hobby farmers. Owners can choose from 48-, 54- or 60-inch mower decks, each with a fabricated, reinforced 10-gauge steel deck and standard notch blades that cut through the toughest turf. Large 7.5-gallon (ZXR and ZXR SE) or 12.5-gallon (ZXC and ZXC SE) fuel capacities require less-frequent refueling, saving time for operators. Models feature Briggs & Stratton or Kohler engines, with Hydro-Gear transmissions for reliable, hardworking performance. Optimized belt routing reduces vibration and increases belt life, easing the burden of machine downtime and replacement costs. Seat and deck lift levers ensure the mowers comfortably accommodate users of all builds, and optimized control connections and linkages create a precise and responsive driving experience. Visit Kioti, Standard Golf announced that its latest innovation, the Putt-saver Tourna- ment Flagstick , is officially permitted under the Rules of Golf and meets the requirements of the Rules of Golf. "As with all of our products, we manufacture based on the Rules of Golf as provided by the USGA and R&A," Standard Golf Director of Market- ing Matt Pauli says. "With the rule about leaving a flagstick in the cup while putting being new in 2019, and with our flagstick a little more narrow than previous flagsticks, the USGA wanted to take a closer look at both our flagstick and the written rules of equipment and specifically flagsticks." The new flagstick has two unique characteristics, Standard Golf says. The tapered flagstick is just 3 ⁄8 inch in diameter from the ferrule to a point 3.5 inches above the ground, while many other flagsticks are 1 ⁄2 inch in diameter. The stick then tapers to 7 ⁄8 inch before narrowing to 3 ⁄8 inch. Also, the flagstick, a 1 ⁄4-inch steel rod over-molded in plastic, is in two pieces, making the product shorter and therefore less expensive to ship. The flagstick is available in several color patterns, including white, yel- low, white/black, white/red and yellow/black. Visit Standard Golf, Prime Source LLC announced its exclusive distributor agreement with Marrone Bio Innovations , developer of the OMRI Certified Zelto- Turf Protector . With this agreement, Prime Source will be the exclusive distributor for all states except Arizona, California and Nevada, where they will be non-exclusive distributors. Zelto turf protection promotes turf health by protecting roots from the ground up. It is a safe and effective biological nematicide for control of plant parasitic nematodes and soil-dwelling pests. It has a novel nonliving bacteria-based active ingredient with true nematicidal activity against eggs, juveniles and adult nematodes. In turf, Zelto can also be used to control surface-feeding insects. Zelto is an effective option for controlling many common damaging insects and mites in ornamentals as well.
