Clark was the vice president of sales and marketing for Buffalo's former parent company and largest current shareholder, Billy Casper Golf. During her nine-year tenure, she managed a team of nearly 30 people and drove top- and bottom-line growth for a portfolio of 150 courses across 29 states using traditional and cutting-edge marketing practices. Other key personnel moves earlier this year were: naming longtime golf and retail-industry executive John Watson executive chairman; tapping Kyle Ragsdale, Vox Media's former top revenue and marketing officer, as CEO; and launching Buffalo Studios, led by new chief creative officer Derek Koenig. Troon was selected to manage Hunting Creek Country Club, a private club located just outside of Louisville in Prospect, Ky. Troon Privé, the private club op- erations division of Troon, will manage the family-friendly club. Founded in 1964, Hunting Creek Country Club is set among the rolling hills of Kentucky on a bluff south of the Ohio River. The club offers a host of year-round amenities, including a 7,157-yard golf course originally designed by club member Ben Wihry. Holt Golf Design led a complete tee-to-green course renovation that was com- pleted in 2010. The renovation focused on improving the routing and updating hazard locations and green slopes to accommodate advancements in technology and golf BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., recently broke ground on a $7.5 million golf course renovation project, led by renowned golf course architect Rees Jones. The renovation aims to refine and revitalize the 55-year-old South Course. The project is expected to be completed for play in December. Headed by project manager Ron Despain from Troon, the renovation kicked off with a groundbreaking ceremony featuring Jones and Bryce Swanson of Rees Jones Inc., along with club dignitaries and the key team from Total Golf, the contractor completing the work. Built in 1964 and designed by Joe Lee and Dick Wilson, BallenIsles CC's South Course is a 6,827-yard, par-72 layout. The South Course renovation will include a complete tee-to-green makeover, including an all-new irrigation system, cart paths, bunkering and Jones' look at refined strategy. As part of the South Course renovation, a new set of tees will be added, measuring approximately 4,000 yards, to provide a shorter course playing option, allowing for five to six various tee settings and angles to challenge different levels of players. Buffalo Groupe and its Buffalo Agency appointed three new senior vice presidents to their executive team: Emily Clark, Lauren Nodzak and Teresa Olsen. Each leads a specific area in the business. Clark is head of people and culture; Nodzak is head of client strategy and service; and Olsen is head of strategy for Buffalo Groupe. Olsen has worked in multiple industries during her 30-year career, most recently with Hallmark Cards, where she directed strategy for the company's branded specialty retail network (2,200-plus locations). Nodzak joins Buffalo after five years with Pernod Ricard USA, the Aquatrols appointed Jay Lewis as its newest U.S. territory manager. In his new role, Lewis (pictured above) is responsible for overseeing the company's business in the Pacific Northwest region, including western Canada and Hawaii. Lewis joins the Aquatrols team from Textron Specialized Vehicles, where he worked most recently as its channel development manager. An Oregon native, Lewis previously managed distribution in the western region for Jacobsen Golf.
