Mr. Heist, a 20-year member of GCSAA, was a World War II veteran and retired from General Motors with more than 30 years of experience. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed woodworking and building things. Mr. Heist is survived by his daughters, Shirley Banfill; Janet (Don) Repass; grandchildren, Bruce (Shannon) Banfill; Bryon (Sandy) Banfill; Bonny (Bill) Fields; Brenda (Evert) Lawrence; and numerous great-grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Andrew J. Maronge, 39, died May 29, 2018. Mr. Maronge, a 16-year member of GCSAA, was the golf course superintendent at Chestatee Golf Club in Dawsonville, Ga. A graduate from Auburn University, he was an avid tennis player. Mr. Maronge is survived by his son, Riley Maronge; parents, George and Glenda Maronge; brother, Chris (Wendy) Maronge; sister, Amanda (Jonathan) McCants; and six nieces and nephews. Rodolfo Ruiz, 76, died July 9, 2018. Mr. Ruiz, a 3-year member of GCSAA, worked for more than 45 years as superintendent at Westlake Village (Calif.) Golf Course. Mr. Ruiz is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria Ruiz; daughter, Maggie; sons, Rodolfo "Rudy Jr." Ruiz and Jose "Pepe" Ruiz; grandchildren, Felicia Amelia, Alyssa Marrie, Marie Pheebe, Aiden Rodolfo, Maddy Eliza- beth, and Mayson Tadeo; sister, Josefina Ortiz; great-grandchildren, Tye Rayne, Bailey Star and Jayce King; and many nieces and nephews.
